Information Resources and Library Science

Often known as an MLS, this graduate degree granted me the opportunity to be a librarian for eight years (I worked in libraries for eleven). I was fortunate to complete my Master's while working in an academic library, so I could apply my learning immediately. I gained the experience of being a student online, which helps me have an awareness of its challenges and opportunities.

Projects

Created a website about Academic Law Librarian Ethics: https://sites.google.com/site/ethicsacademiclawlibrarian/
Developed a website with colleagues about teen privacy rights: https://sites.google.com/site/teenprivacy/
Designed a proposal for partnership between a public library and museum, for community engagement called "Across the Courtyard: Tempe Teen History Project."
